An experienced engineering professional demonstrating practical machining skills to adult learners

For candidates

1. Register your interest

Fill in one short form. You do not need a CV, a teaching qualification or teaching experience.

2. A conversation with a recruiter

We call to talk through your trade, your experience and what you want. We explain the different FE roles, typical working patterns and what qualifications may be needed.

3. Your profile

We prepare a short profile based on what you told us. You check it, and it is only shared with colleges if you give your permission.

4. Introductions and interviews

We introduce you to colleges with suitable roles. Many colleges ask candidates to deliver a short practical or micro-teach session, and we help you prepare.

5. Offer and starting

We help with questions about the offer, notice periods and any teaching qualification the college asks you to complete.

For colleges

Tell us about the role. We search our candidate network and actively look for industry professionals, screen them for subject knowledge and their reasons for teaching, and send you profiles. You pay a placement fee only when you make an appointment.
